Harry Potter Theme Song by Harry Potter on Grooveshark

Hope you had a nice Valentines Day.

Valentines Day 2012.

Picture is from my Birthday, last year 26th February not from yesterday ;)

How was your day ? Did you have fun ? Meet boyfriend/girldriend, friends, family ?

Or do you simply don’t like this day ?

I didn’t do anything special. Just made someone a self made card and a drawing, and stayed at home most of the day ^^.

ALAN RICKMAN !

Alan Rickman is so good they didn’t had the courage to nominate him for the oscars because he is so much more.

But still… disappointed… Alan Rickman should win an oscar ! I think it’s the least they could have done for Alan Rickman after all his wonderful acting and for the Harry Potter fans after 10 year ! But I guess people are to dfsjkix55! to admit what’s right and what’s wrong !

Alan Movie of the Week N°2

Alan Movie n°2: Rasputin

Reason I chose it for this week: The cold weather kind of made me think of this movie, which is playing in Russia.

Comment:  For those who know the movie is based on real facts. The story screens the last generation of the Romanov family, which ruled over Russia for 300 years. I read some stuff about Rasputin (despite it is really not much so I can only judge from what I know :) and the story, with naturally some cinematographic stuff add and keeping the myth of Rasputin alive, shows in a real good way how things were. I personally think it is a really good movie, for anyone, seeking to learn more about Russian history or just for fun. You don’t have to figure out a lot to guess which role Alan Rickman is playing in this movie: of course he acts Rasputin the “Dark servant of Destiny”. Alan Rickman’s performance was brilliant; he succeeded in playing the various levels of Rasputin, the mysterious, heroic saviour side such as the one showing Rasputin conflicted between being a conventional Monk and resist the temptations of alcohol and unusual ways to enjoy life as a servant of god. Alan Rickman won several awards for this role: An Emmy, Golden Globe and British Academy for Best Actor, so as an Alan Rickman fan you will not have many choices: Watch the movie!  For those who are not acknowledged of the end of the story, I am not going to tell, but it’s just saddening.

Grade:  I would say 8.5… to find a good middle. This movie, in contrary to the previous one, received a lot of good critics and I agree with most of them ^^!

Alan Movie of the Week

Alan Movie n°1: The January Man

Reason I chose it for this week: The title: “The January Man”

Comment:  There are a lot of bad critics about this movie; some of them are really harsh.  Personally I don’t get why. It’s NOT that I LOVED the movie as some people, which defend it strongly, but I think it is still enjoyable. The movie is pretty unrealistic, but everything you watch doesn’t have to be 100% makeable in real life. The reason I think you should try this movie out is the cast: Kevin Kline as Nick Starkey, Susan Sarando as Christine Starkey, Mary Elizabeth Mastranton as Bernadette Flynn Harvey Keitel, Frank Starkey Danny Aiello as Capt. Vincent Alcoa, Rod Steiger as Mayor Eamon And Errol Slue as Chief Sund, Then naturally Alan Rickman, who plays Ed an artist, friend of “Nick”.

Alan Rickman’s acting was, in my opinion, really sweet and his facial statement is very good. Some people, again, disliked or even hated Kevin Kline’s acting, but on the other hand there are people which loved it… so what I mean is you’ll have to try it out for yourself. Don’t take it too seriously and I think it will be ok for you!  In each case, if you are on this page it means you are an Alan Rickman fan (at least a bit ^^) so you will not loose your time since you’ll watch him acting: p!

Grade: I am not good with grading movies, I don’t really hate or love so… I think I’ll give a 6.510, but I am not even sure about this grade xD

Stop cruel world delicacies.

He is cute right ? And has such an human look. Don’t you think it goes to far eating animals alive, mistreat them etc… I don’t say we can’t eat meat anymore. But there are ways which are far more okay than others. It’s indescribable how some “delicacies” vaunt the fact of having “fun” seeing the animal die in front of you, tortured and yelling. How can you even eat it after that ? And don’t come with arguments like: “it’s cultural, your are offending people”, because I think you can try to look objectively at some things and realize they are just WRONG. I mean if people want to eat insects (not alive) in some cultures, okay why not? Or, for example, there are animals I think it would be preferable if people would not eat them like horses, but if people do, i will not start insulting them or other. The point is the torture. Also Monkeys are different from the other animals, from or point of view, because they are so close to us. It should not be ALLOWED eaten them. Not only legally but also from our own conscience. Going back to the fact of  culture, you can say what you want, it is true it is more current in countries outside Europe to do this, but there already a few examples who come to my mind which concerns European countries (I am European), one of them: Frogs in France. It’s clear it is probably not done everywhere in this way but I think most of us have heard how they are prepared. Enough of it now. Not enough…

Not enough talented, not enough pretty, not enough smart, not good enough.

This is sadly how I feel way to often…

The picture is taken from the TV soap One Tree Hill (Sophia Bush as Brooke Davis, season 4).

It is my favorite show and i totaly recommend it by the way ^^

Omphalophobia

To anyone suffering from this phobia, please contact me, it’s always nice to see one is not alone ! I was really happy when I found out there was a name for my strange phobia… because since I don’t know when I really freak out thinking about belly buttons being touch or something… I sometimes even get the feeling I will vomit if I think to much of it. I cannot stand someone touching his belly button and worse of all if someone would touch mine :O !!!!!!! What’s really annoying is you don’t want to tell everybody you know : Hey I am afraid of belly buttons… and then see there faces go like “haha how funny is that :p”. And when someone starts touching his belly I already unconsciously turn around in case of. And movies ! Oh my god… I am always so scared there will be something really horrible. At least finding out this phobia concerned other people (for others like me there is a group on facebook !) made me feel so much better, because all my friends laugh at me (I am not mad or anything but still :p), even my parents don’t understand it… so it made me feel better. I am not going to put any picture on here because I am too scared looking for pictures… knowing there are mean people putting disgusting pictures on purpose…

So if there is any omphalophobic reading my post, please reply on a comment or submit or ask ^^ To the others : Do you suffer from a special or also current phobia ? I also have arachnophobia, which is in contrary to omphalophobia, I think the must or one of the must current ones ^^
